and i’m a lefty

if you imagine holding these keys in your right hand, when you push the button to spring the key out, it would swing out from the open part of your hand. Now if you hold it in your left, when the key swings out it gets caught in the webbing of your hand. So now i’m trying to swap which pocket my keys go in so they will be in my right hand. Its hard to do do after 15 years of putting my keys in the left pocket and my phone in my right.

I’ve done a ton of work on my house and also see this alot with power tools. sometimes its scary making a difficult cut with a circular saw when you want to use your stronger hand and are almost forced to use the weaker one.

Also a lefty. You need to swap the keys to your right hand to start the car so this should be a non issue. Everything has always been built for rightys. I keep my keys in my left pocket and phone in the right as well.

righting left to right is the worst. I alsoways end up with the side of my hand covered in pen or pencil. this is especially bad at work when I have to sketch out a floor plan or something
